Spanish Wine Tasting
The April Wine Tasting was a sold out event. Our enologist, Walt Fisher chose Spanish wines as the theme. This was the fourth wine tasting that Springton Lake Village has coordinated and it has proved to be a most enjoyable way to learn more about wine.
Mr. Fisher selected three wines and a sherry. He and Chef Joe worked together to select entrees that perfectly accompanied the wines. In looking at the final menu one can understand why the wine tasting events are always well attended. Among the menu highlights was “Paella” made of roasted lobster, clams and mussels with risotto served with a Solanes Cims de Porrera, 2003.
The next wine tasting will be in October of this year.
